Fidelman, CPA, P.A. in Arden (Asheville area), North Carolina. The firm’s practice is focused on forensic accounting, business consulting, and the valuation of closely held businesses and professional practices.   On numerous occasions, Mr. Fidelman has testified as an expert witness at deposition and trial regarding business valuation, economic damages and other financial matters, in commercial, family law and criminal cases. He has served as a jointly appointed forensic accountant and business appraiser in arbitrated and mediated disputes, a court appointed arbitrator regarding business valuation, and a court appointed mediator regarding equitable distribution. He has been retained as a consultant with regard to taxes, valuation and structuring, on the merger, sale or acquisition of dozens of businesses and professional practices. Mr. Fidelman has been a guest lecturer on the topic of “Interpretation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns” at loan officers’ seminars for Union Bank and Bank of America.   Mr. Fidelman is active in the North Carolina Society of Certified Public Accountants, sitting on the Litigation Services Committee and is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the NCACPA for 2005-2008.     In addition to being an ardent supporter of the ABV Credential, Mr. Fidelman is an accomplished runner, recently winning a gold medal in the State Games of North Carolina!
