Welcome to the application process for the AICPA's Accredited in Business Valuation credential. The application process for the credential should take an average two hours to complete, provided you have gathered all the necessary documentation as outlined in the ABV Credential Application Kit. Note that we suggest that you follow this guide closely as you complete the application.

2. ABV Competency Assessment Tool

The Competency Assessment Tool (CAT) is a tool to assess your readiness to become a credential holder. We suggest you take the test upon entering this process to determine your skill level. As a member of the AICPA, you may access this tool any number of times.

3. ABV Examination Registration Process
